tête-à-tête is a new project from the Queens College School of The Arts Design Program, where we'll be soliciting anonymous stories and messages from students, faculty, and staff about their experiences and stories both on and off campus and then using those messages to create short animations.
tête-à-tête, a French word meaning intimate or 1-1 conversations, uses a private custom-built phone booth participants can step in to share anonymous stories about their experiences. Our team will then choose a couple of stories each month to animate and post on the QC School of the Arts YouTube channel as well as tête-à-tête's own Instagram and TikTok accounts. If you cannot make it to the phone booth but are still interested in telling a story, please call (718)-925-4745 and follow the prompts to leave a message.
We are hoping to open up this program to all of CUNY so don't worry if you aren't in Queens College specifically, and if you're a CUNY student who would like to be a guest animator please fill out our form here.
